James M. Deckman, DMD

Resident of Sequim since 2008. Married to Sandy Deckman.  Two children and four grandchildren. Retired from dentistry after almost 30 years of practice. Presently active in Olympic Peninsula Mycological Society serving as President.  Also serving as an Affiliate Instructor at University of Washington School of Dentistry since 2008.  Hobbies include gardening, fishing, and photography.

Head Coach, Mountaineers Middle School lacrosse team, 2012. Level 1 Certificate, 2011; Double-Goal Coach 1, 2011; Level 2 Online Course, 2011. Assistant Coach Mountaineers Middle School team in 2011.

Played college lacrosse at Drexel University, lettered 1963-1966, as goalie. 1st Team, All Pennsylvania-Delaware Lacrosse Association in 1965. Coached lacrosse at US Military Academy Prep School, Ft. Belvoir, Virginia, 1969.
