By now, we hope you have heard of the inaugural Seatown Classic, the first Division I
men’s lacrosse game to be held in the Pacific Northwest. The game will pit The University
of Maryland vs. The University of Denver on October 13th at Starfire Sports in Tukwila,

The Washington Chapter of US Lacrosse hopes this event will lead to continued growth
of lacrosse throughout the Pacific NW and provide the entire lacrosse community a
glimpse of the game at its highest level. All proceeds from the game go to getting the teams
out here and developing the game at all levels.
Individual tickets for the event will go on sale on the website July 15th at a price of $22. The
Chapter is providing local teams an opportunity to sell tickets prior to that date and
help fundraise for your team. Teams will be able to purchase tickets in blocks of 25
tickets for a price of $18 each. Teams can then sell those tickets for $22 (or whatever
price the team would like) and keep the difference for the club.
The day will also involve a girls’ clinic put on by womenslax.com, a boys’ clinic
put on by the college players and a coaches clinic from the college coaches. Details
and tickets for these events will follow soon.
If you would like to take advantage of this fundraising opportunity, please reply to
this email and indicate how many tickets you would like to purchase. Payment will
need to be made up front and the Chapter will send a special website where
tickets may be printed to be given to purchasers.
