Calling all available mountaineers to help support the Civic Field Bond; we are hoping to have 3-5 mountaineers available to go out and hold signs to support getting this bond passed.
What this will require: from 4 – 5:30 pm holding signs to support the ballot measure. You will need to wear some form of mountaineer apparel, whether it is your jersey, a t-shirt, hat, etc. from now through August 7th.
Where: The corner of Lincoln & 8th and/or the Y at McDonald’s.

Why do we care? Not only will this help to give the Mountaineers continued exposure, but the benefits are greater than that. If this passes it will allow us the opportunity to play night games on a turfed field, hold championship games, camps, tournaments and not have to travel off the peninsula for Playoff games starting in the Spring of 2014.
Don’t forget this is also a great opportunity to use up some of your volunteer hours and support your lacrosse club.
