Saturday evening June 23rd from 6:30 – 8:30 pm features Round 2 of the 1st annual Summer Classic Paper, Rock, Scissors Tournament hosted by Port Angeles’ BarN9NE and sponsored by Peninsula Bottling. All proceeds from this least athletic, yet outrageously fun, competition goes to support one of the most athletic youth sports on the North Olympic Peninsula; The Olympic Peninsula Mountaineers Youth Lacrosse Program. The event is open to all ages 12 and above.
Round 1 in May saw the 4 man Peninsula Bottling team battle through the losers bracket to win in a sudden death showdown against T. Rocas(see attached photos). Both teams earned berths in the mid-September championship.
If your business or organization has 4 quick fisted fun loving teammates and would like to enter the tournament (entry fee is $100 per team), or if your business has items it can donate for the tournament raffle, please leave your contact information with the North Olympic Peninsula Mountaineers Lacrosse team @ (360) 232-4506.
If you are not interested in participating in the tournament but want to have some fun, please join us. We are always looking for volunteers to help sell raffle tickets and club apparel. So, get your cheer on, show your support and join the party.
